Ai Yori Aoshi is a story about a young girl, named Aoi Sakuraba and boy, Kaoru Hanabishi who have known each other sense they were very young. They were to be married then it was called off and Aoi was heart broken. So she left here home to find Kaoru to see if he still loved her. Kaoru had left his family because he could no longer take the mental, physical, and emotional pain that he received there.
